The term has been very busy - with NAPLAN testing over we are now preparing for mid course reports. Our digital curriculum is well established and students are able to explore some amazing sites online. We continue to develop our teaching programs to ensure they include the very best of digital learning. We have recently purchased site licences for Minecraft so that we can operate a safe environment for our students as they explore a range of scientific and geographical options using this amazing software.
We hope to soon provide parents with access to their child's work online. We are designing a digital portfolio so that each student can post samples of their best work for parents to see.
Two students from Year 8 will be attending Space Camp in America with Ms Choi. There was so much interest in this event that we are considering an excursion next year - it seems it would cost around $6000 per student so please let us know if you might be interested.
