In the words of Steven and Riko, this is their experience on the day:
"It was fun relearning the concepts of the separation of powers and meeting some of the NSW MP's and even the premier of NSW herself. We also had the opportunity to watch some debates in both the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly.
The second-half of the day consisted of a tour around the Governors House just down the road to Parliament. There, we were able to explore only the 1st level of the House which included drawing rooms, which were rooms the women of nobles would "withdraw" to, after dinner, the grand entrance surrounding with paintings of governors and even the oddly small ballroom. We also had a talk with His Excellency who seemed very interested in how we were doing in our final year in high school. In all it was an honour meet some of the important people who provide leadership in our state".
